Contact us

Camille and her reception team will be delighted to help you by telephone all year round on the campsite line +33 (0)5 46 09 63 10, every day from 8.30am to 7pm. When the campsite is closed, the switchboard is manned from 9am – 12pm and 2pm – 5pm, Monday to Friday. If we are unavailable, please leave a message on our answering machine. Our team is committed to getting back to you as soon as possible.

    Coming to the campsite

    Located opposite La Rochelle, L’Île de Ré is linked to the mainland by a 3 km-long bridge, accessible to all types of vehicle.

    On freeways or expressways, head for La Rochelle and reach the N237 ring road. Follow signs for Île de Ré and take the Île de Ré exit. Pass the bridge toll and drive the 3 km over the bridge. At the first roundabout, go straight ahead. At the roundabout, take the exit for Ste Marie de Ré. Then follow the signs for La Flotte en Ré and Camping le Bel Air. Our campsite is on the right, past a wooden sports complex.

    Practical information

    The campsite is spread over 4.39 hectares and has a total of 205 pitches: 95 rentals and 110 bare pitches. These quantities are subject to change without notice.

    Opening hours for campsite and services

    Our campsite welcomes you in 2024 from April to September inclusive, and more precisely from March 29 to September 29, as do the following services: reception, grocery store, sanitary facilities, tennis courts, children’s playground, bike rental, planchas, sheets and towels. The swimming pool is open from May 1 until the campsite closes. As for the restaurant, the new team welcomes you from April 15 to September 29, 2024.

    Reception is open throughout the season at the following times (for information only, subject to change):

    • April, May, June, September: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm / 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm
    • July and August: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

    Are you planning to arrive later than these times? Our campsite has thought of everything! Let reception know your arrival time and we’ll prepare an envelope with a map, badge and key to your pitch or rental.

    Arrival and departure times are as follows:

    Arrivals

    • After 2 p.m. for pitches
    • After 4 p.m. for rentals

    Departures

    • Before 12 noon for pitches
    • Before 10 a.m. for rentals

    Security and bonding

    For everyone’s security and peace of mind, our entrance gate is activated by badge from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is closed at night. Several parking spaces opposite the campsite and to the left of the entrance are available for parking beyond these times. Pedestrian and bicycle access to the campsite is available at all times, to the left of the gate.

    In summer, the campsite is supervised by a night watchman. He ensures that silence is maintained on the premises and that Bel Air’s internal regulations are respected. However, if you witness an incident, you will be given an emergency number to contact the campsite management in the event of an emergency.

    Our campsite requires a deposit of €20 for pitches and €300 for rentals. For more information about our reception, click here.

    Our team carries out a systematic check at the end of your rental stay. An inventory schedule is available at reception to help you prepare for the end of your stay. We do not carry out an initial inventory of fixtures.
