Coming without a car
The nearest SNCF train station is La Rochelle, with direct LGV services from Bordeaux, Nantes and Paris. Regional buses 3 and 3E will connect La Rochelle and La Flotte-en-Ré in 1h05 (La Vierge stop). Check timetables on iledere .com. The campsite is only a 4-minute walk from the stop.

Coming by car
Enter our address in your GPS: 5 Rte de la Noue, 17630 La Flotte. There is a charge for crossing the Ile de Ré bridge by car. Just like at the campsite, carpool with other campers for a friendly, eco-friendly trip! The Mobicoop carpooling site operates without service charges.
On the island, Rezo Pouce, is a safe and widely used hitchhiking network, where holidaymakers will stand up and give a thumbs-up. To take part in shared mobility, why not give it a try and answer their call to hitchhike?
Getting around the island without a car
From the campsite, walk to La Flotte town center with its market, beaches, lighthouse and Fort La Prée along the coastal path…
The Ile de Ré is a cycling paradise. From the campsite, it’s a 5-minute bike ride to the beaches and town center of La Flotte. Saint-Martin-de-Ré and Saint-Marie-de-Ré in 15 minutes, Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré in 20 minutes, and La Rochelle in 1 hour! By public transport, the various free shuttles on the island, RespiRé and buses 3 and 3E will take you to all 4 corners of the island.
Last but not least, the Rezo Pouce service offers secure hitchhiking areas where you can give your thumbs up in complete safety!

Camille and her reception team will be delighted to help you by telephone all year round on the campsite line +33 (0)5 46 09 63 10, every day from 8.30am to 7pm. When the campsite is closed, the switchboard is manned from 9am – 12pm and 2pm – 5pm, Monday to Friday. If we are unavailable, please leave a message on our answering machine. Our team is committed to getting back to you as soon as possible.

Practical information
The campsite is spread over 4.39 hectares and has a total of 205 pitches: 95 rentals and 110 bare pitches. These quantities are subject to change without notice.

Our reception team speaks French, English and Spanish.

Our campsite welcomes you in 2024 from April to September inclusive, and more precisely from March 29 to September 29, as do the following services: reception, grocery store, sanitary facilities, tennis courts, children’s playground, bike rental, planchas, sheets and towels. The swimming pool is open from May 1 until the campsite closes. As for the restaurant, the new team welcomes you from April 15 to September 29, 2024.
Reception is open throughout the season at the following times (for information only, subject to change):
- April, May, June, September: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm / 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm
- July and August: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Are you planning to arrive later than these times? Our campsite has thought of everything! Let reception know your arrival time and we’ll prepare an envelope with a map, badge and key to your pitch or rental.

For everyone’s security and peace of mind, our entrance gate is activated by badge from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is closed at night. Several parking spaces opposite the campsite and to the left of the entrance are available for parking beyond these times. Pedestrian and bicycle access to the campsite is available at all times, to the left of the gate.
In summer, the campsite is supervised by a night watchman. He ensures that silence is maintained on the premises and that Bel Air’s internal regulations are respected. However, if you witness an incident, you will be given an emergency number to contact the campsite management in the event of an emergency.

Our team carries out a systematic check at the end of your rental stay. An inventory schedule is available at reception to help you prepare for the end of your stay. We do not carry out an initial inventory of fixtures.
