Camille and her reception team will be happy to give you information by phone all year round on the campground phone line +33 (0)5 46 09 63 10, every day from 8:30 am to 7 pm. When the campsite is closed, the switchboard is open from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm from Monday to Friday. In case of unavailability, please leave a message on our answering machine. Our team will answer you as soon as possible.

Coming to the campsite
Located in front of La Rochelle, L’Île de Ré is linked to the mainland by a 3 km long bridge accessible to all types of vehicles.

On the freeways or expressways, take the direction of La Rochelle and reach the N237 ring road. Follow the direction Île de Ré and take the exit Île de Ré. Pass the toll of the bridge and drive the 3 km of the bridge. At the first roundabout, go straight ahead. At the roundabout, take the exit towards Ste Marie de Ré. Then follow the direction of La Flotte en Ré and the sign Campsite le Bel Air. Our campsite will be on the right, after a wooden sports complex.
The campsite is spread over 4.39 hectares and has a total of 205 pitches: 95 rentals and 110 bare pitches. These quantities are subject to change without notice.

Opening hours of the campsite and services
Our campsite welcomes you in 2024 from April to September included and more exactly from from 29 March to 29 September 2024 as well as the following services: reception, grocery store, sanitary facilities, tennis courts, children’s playground, bicycle rental, planchas, sheets and towels. The swimming pool is open from May 1st until the campsite closes. As for the restaurant, the team welcomes you from April 15th to September 1st 2024.
The reception is open all season long according to the following schedules (given as an indication, subject to change):
- April, May, June, September : 9h00 to 12h00 / 14h00 to 18h30
- July and August : 8am to 8pm
Are you planning to arrive after these hours? Our campsite has thought of everything! Let the reception know your arrival time and we will prepare an envelope with a map, badge and key to your pitch or rental.

Security and bonding
For the safety and tranquility of all, our entrance gate is activated by a badge from 7am to 11pm and is closed at night. Several parking spaces in front of the campground and on the left side of the entrance are available for parking beyond these hours. Pedestrian and bicycle access to the campground is available at all times, to the left of the gate.
In summer, the campsite is supervised by a night watchman. He makes sure that silence is respected within the establishment and that the internal regulations in force at Bel Air are respected. However, if you witness an incident, an emergency number will be given to you on site to contact the campsite management in case of emergency.
Our campsite requires a deposit for the entrance badge of 20€ for pitch stays, and 300€ for rentals. For more information about our reception, please click here.
Our team carries out a systematic control at the end of your stay. A schedule of the exit inventory of fixtures is available at the reception in order to prepare your end of stay in all serenity. We do not carry out the inventory of fixtures at the beginning of your stay.
